2017 BRZ without spoiler?

Hey guys. I'm thinking about trading my car in for a new BRZ. The only thing is that I hate the spoiler. It totally ruins the car for me.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get one without the spoiler (limited version)? Or would it be possible to have the dealer change it out for one of the lip type spoilers?

I'm sure you'll be able to get a 2017 BRZ without the new type spoiler (the Premium), but if you want to get the zenki (2013-2016) lip spoiler, you will most likely have to find someone in the same colour car who'd want to trade trunks with you. That or buy a lip spoiler and fit it yourself.

Was thinking the same thing, dislike the new spoiler, and love the car without a spoiler at all.

Standard on all brz models for 2017 from what I have read.

The only real way to find out is ask your dealer if you can get/order one without it, or trade someone with a older model.

Just trade the rear. Many people would trunk it up with you.

Gonna disagree with this. There's a trunk trade thread here that's filled to the brim with people looking to trade out their winged trunks for wingless.

If you want a wingless trunk, you're likely either buying one or living with plugged holes.

You could just buy a zenki and pocket the extra cash... :)

With enough money, anything is possible.

1. Order a 2016 boot lid assembly with the spoiler and replace the one on the 2017.
2. Have an excellent body/customs shop remove the wing, fill the holes, and paint the boot lid.
3. Buy a 2016 and a 2017 in the same color, and switch the boot lids.

Damn, I really want that new car. That spoiler though, nevermind.

It isn't like a competent body shop could weld the holes and repaint the trunklid or anything.

I think you'll be surprised how willing people will be to swap when the new wing comes out, there will always be ones that want to adapt their cars to look like the newer models etc/ want to be seen with something first etc.
