Frs Die cast Models

So I found a few, but nothing in my color (which isn't totally necessary).

I'm looking for hopefully a 1:18 scale. Preferably a high quality one.

What brands are considered high quality and anyone else bought one?

AUTOart makes a 1:18 scale FRS, BRZ & GT86. I bought a Firestorm GT86 and it's very nice, even has a fuzzy carpet-like material in the trunk and a fairly detailed engine bay.

Really? Wow, that is cool! Probably don't have it in ultramarine though.

Not sure what color I'd get if I got a different one.

Well Autoart doesn't call it Ultramarine, but they do have one! Freakin' expensive though!

Yes, they are expensive but they are the models to get. I was a little tempted by a Pagani model of theirs but at US$350 I decided against it.

1/18 scale Autoart (diecast), 1/43 scale Kyosho J-Collection / Ebbro (diecast), 1/24 scale Tamiya Masterwork Collection (plastic).

AutoArt rocks.

I bought their Alfa Tipo 33 Stradale for a buddy last Christmas. Red of course. Quality was amazing. I'm gonna try and grab their 1st gen RX-7 for another buddy this year. They make great Christmas gifts because they're so completely unnecessary. It's not something most people would think to buy for themselves. :)

The price is so high these days don't risk QC defects (seen a lot of these over the years including Exoto) and buy it at your local hobby shop, take your time inspect the model carefully first before paying since Autoart customer service isn't that great if there is ever an issue (i.e. missing accessories or parts, etc).

If you want absolute flawlessness then nothing beats good old Tamiya quality. Shame that CMC doesn't make modern car models but only classics.

There are some pretty sweet 64th sale ones on eBay and such too... I picked up a gt86 one out of Japan thats on display in my garage. For a 64th scale it even has the red seat bolsters and silver dash trim.

My wife bought me one of these models for xmas, they dropped quite a bit in price since I first saw them online. Looks like you can get them now for around $67 https://smile.amazon.com/American-Ha...ords=frs+model

Thought I'd share a few pictures of how it looks.

Guys guys. You don't buy them from the autoart website, nor amazon lol. None of the collectors do that. That's how you get ripped off. Either get them from ebay or any of the million diecast retailers in the US.
