Trunk Struts?

Do they make such things as trunk struts? Kind of like Grimspeed hood struts, but for the trunk?

I hate how our trunk doesn't pop open 'automatically' when you unlock it.

Mine have some, but they don't lift it up all the way?? Are you looking to upgrade those ones or add something else to pop it all the way up?

My trunk unlocks and kind of stays there. It won't lift itself up until I left the hood about halfway.

So I'm looking for something that does it all the way.

oh okay, I know this is something that is usually manufactured into the design of the vehicle, so I doubt there is much if anything you can do to make it pop all the way open.

The stock behavior (not popping up) has helped a couple of times when I didn't realize the trunk was open and drove away. It doesn't fly up. Tis a good thing for absent minded ppl like myself.

Well, old timer ....... the next phase is forgetting to put the gas cap back on.

Followed in a few years by forgetting to remove the gas filler hose before you drive off from the pumps........:eyebulge:
