Loud Click from Driver's Door Over Bumps

I have a 2016 BRZ with 9,000 miles that I've owned since new in December 2015. Recently, I noticed a pretty loud click coming from the driver's door when driving over bumps at 45+mph (interstate, multi-lane roads, etc.).

It sounds almost like the glass of my window somehow hitting the frame above the door, as it does not sound like a plastic or metal click. Has anyone else noticed this? Search on Google and here did not return anything related to this specifically.

It probably is. Do you notice this with the windows down or up?

Windows up all the way - I realize I should have included that in the OP.

Can you verify for us that the window is seated properly in the weather striping when fully closed and that the window still goes up/down that half inch when you open/close the door?

also inspect your weather striping around the door frame any crimps or bends?

I will check and take photos during lunch. Thanks for the suggestions.
