None sense you can still do the manual! It is uncomfortable though...ask me how I know lol

The only time I wished I had an auto was when I dislocated my patella at work and had to drive home. 1-3-6 lol

Summerwolf 07-12-2016 09:01 AM

I don't see the reasoning.

Shinigami301 07-12-2016 09:28 AM

OP actually means "the only good reason" LOL

Heal fast!!

I sprained my left ankle pretty badly one time playing basketball and had to drive home. Hurt like hell working the clutch (different car). Worst part was giving a friend a lift home and hearing him laughing bc he thought it was hilarious. Should have just made him walk...

I've broken my left leg three times in about 5 years (long stories), and because I've only ever driven manuals I couldn't drive anywhere all of those times.
When I got my 86 I thought about automatic, but rather got rid of the indirect cause of two of the breaks, my bike, and went manual. :D

Better start doing some squats to strengthen those pigeon legs :P

Your point is moot because how the hell do you drive with that big ass boot on. I broke my ankle, and had to drive from hospital in my auto, tried it with that thing on and couldn't. I had to drive it without it and it hurt like hell, the doctor later on said I did myself no favors

Thats why i have 2 cars,,
my 86 is MT and another car is AT.

FX86 07-12-2016 03:03 PM

paddle shifters and downshift rev matching are the only reasons
