Cosworth 1.2 exhaust availability?
 

So I just installed the Cosworth 1.1 exhaust and would like to move up to the 1.2 after driving the 1.1 for awhile. My question is for @Matt@Cosworth and @RallySport Direct.

When I purchased the 1.1 exhaust, RallySport had 2 in stock. I bought one when they had their 4th of July sale. Now it is showing up as discontinued. There is only one 1.2 left in stock. Is it going to be discontinued also? I'm not ready to purchase the 1.2 yet. It may be a few months. Is Cosworth discontinuing everything for the BRZ?

I purchased several other Cosworth items in the past for my BRZ and it seems that almost all of them have now been discontinued. They no longer sell the oil cap, radiator hoses or thermostat. All have been listed as discontinued at RallySport Direct. Now the 1.1 exhaust is discontinued. Is Cosworth moving out of the BRZ market? If so, I really hate to hear this. I want to be able to buy the 1.2 exhaust in the future and can't be rushed into buying it now out of fear that it won't be available when I'm ready.

I believe they are now offering just the 1.0 as the base kit (filter, thermostat, and tune) and then the rest will be offered as individuals. So for the 1.2, you could buy just the downpipe portion, and then contact Cosworth to send the 1.2 tune. Same with the headers. RallySport Direct should have those items.

I think what I meant to say is that I had the 1.0 and then added the 0.1 axleback exhaust to make it a 1.1. Now the 0.1 exhaust is discontinued.

They only have one of the 0.2 midpipes and I'm worried that it will be discontinued as well once it sells.

I've noticed a trend where every part I order for my car becomes discontinued right after I order it. I ordered the last oil cap, radiator hose set and Cosworth air inlet hose. All of these parts are now discontinued. The thermostat was also listed as discontinued but now it is back on their site. Is Cosworth getting out of the BRZ business? Or is RallySport Direct listing parts as discontinued once they sell out as some sort of website glitch?

Anyway, I'm LOVING the 1.1. I can actually hear the exhaust which makes shifting much easier. I also don't have to look at the speedometer when cruising because I can hear the RPMs. I want the 0.2 eventually once I pay for the 0.1. I'm just hoping it doesn't go off the market before I'm ready as so many other parts seem to have done.

I love my 1.1 as well! Another option which you may consider is ordering direct from nameless. You get essentially the same exact part for 3/4 the cost of the Cosworth branded items. You can spec the FO/OP combo to include the resonator as well!

They probably list it as discontinued as they keep limited quantities. I'd hope they aren't leaving the twins behind. Especially after leaving us on a cliffhanger of a supercharger kit. And like Kuczynski said, you can always order directly from Nameless Performance.
