Squeaky windows when it rains
 

I'm sure I'm not the only one. When the windows go up and down after a rainy day it squeals, any solution?

My 2013 does it. My coworker's 2015 does it. I wonder if the 2017s have that issue.

I completely ignore my window squeak and cricket lol..

How long has it been since the car has been washed? Mine only really does it when the windows are dirty and then it rains.

Open the car door and clean the top edge of the window with Rain-X or similar. If you clean your windows while the door is shut you won't get the scum off that collects at the top of the door seal.

That is the most annoying thing, idc about crickets, but this actually bothers me.. I was almost about to take it to the dealership and say something soon haha.

I hope no one in this forum ever tries to drive a car built before about 1991 or so.

You guys would just freak out at all the minor inconsequential squeaks and rattles and go straight to the internet in a panic.

Not panicking, just curious how to remedy the minor annoyance.

Dealer fixed mine under warrant. there is a revised seal and another piece that goes in the door frame. but now that its out of warranty the passenger side started doing it.

Did you get only one side replaced? It looks like you got both replaced... but the issue came back?

My '13 did it every single time but my '16 only squeaks sporadically.

At the time only the drivers side was doing it so they only fixed it. the pic i posted is the tsb for window squeaks.

Had the same issue. I went to the dealer with the TSB above and was fixed under warranty. No issues after that.

I Highly recommend getting this done under warranty. It's just about $300 to fix it yourself. Not a fun cost when you can get it done for free.
