Head Unit, Crossovers And Amp

So I want to replace my stock (non touch screen) frs head unit with an aftermarket. I also am thinking of upgrading the amp a little but keep stock speakers.

I'm worried about crossovers since the amp only powers door speakers (I think). Obviously I don't want to remove crossover ability. Is that in the head unit or amp?

I'm currently running a 4 channel amp, 2 of those channels to the stock door speakers. The OEM amp produces the crossover for the door speakers, at least from what my ears can tell. I get vocals through my doors now.
