shouldn't have called..

Called my dealership at lunch to check if they had come up with a delivery date yet for my Asphalt; they didn't give me one when I put the deposit down, just an estimate for late July.

The sales manager told me he was pretty positive it would be in Wed/Thurs next week... Now I'm too excited to concentrate at work. I should have just waited for them to call me when it was delivered!

What did everyone else do to curb the anticipation?

I think I am the wrong person to ask... LOL I got mine last week and now I am wondering when products are coming from aftermarket... LOL

haha, congrats :) I've already been thinking about that for a while, mostly just to replace the stock stereo though.

i started learning everything i possibly can about the engine, suspension, electronics... also got so comfortable with some of the features that i started purchasing parts and different lighting to work on it. i admit i am supper distracted at work ( like now) : ) . i just hope the hype doesn't disappear with in the first week of owning it.:confused0068:

I've been through that. But when the date came, the car didn't. Hope this is not happening to you.

i also googled, youtube'd, all sorts of pictures and videos of the car. wife thought (thinks?) i'm going crazy.

but i just received the greatest news this morning. my car has arrived at the dealership! will be going to finalize paperwork and pick it up this evening. :happyanim:

If you're anything like me, you probably wont be very active on the forums for the two weeks after you get your car so get those posts in now!
