Reputable tuners in GTA
 

I was wondering if anyone can recommend some local tuners in the GTA, for performance upgrades and mechanical services.

Some names I've come across here on the forum and elsewhere: OptionJDM, Teknotik, Defcon, NV Auto.

Always gone to teknotik no complaints here. Amazing prices and they have an amazing technician.

For Subarus engines you can't forget CanJam motorsports. They build Subaru race cars.

APH doesn't really exist anymore LOL. You are looking for tuners as in ECU tuning or part stores?

I'm looking for one shop that can provide parts, installation, and tuning. A place with reasonable prices and good technical know-how.

I guess it will be a while before one really emerges as the FRS/BRZ specialist, since the car is so new...

Do you guys carry the Five AD rear spoiler separately as well? Thought I'd ask on here in case anyone else is interested.

Yes we sure do, demand has been for the 5 piece kits thus far, but we do have 10 spoilers coming Monday, 6 are sold 4 left.

I have ordered 10 more they were ordered for stock and those 10 will be here the week after next also.

a) no, the rear Five AD spoiler comes with excellent 3M double side tape and is simply "stuck" on over the factory paint. Installation instrucions found here. http://www.fivead.net/2013-scion-fr-...oiler-405.html


b) sorry we do not, as they come from California the chances of damges to the finish as well as the multiple color options make it close to impossible to deliver it without damage and needing huge stock of colors

c) The price for the spoiler is $313.76 CAD plus tax

d) No, taxes are always extra. Those quoting tax-in or cash usually are simply hiding it in the price, and/or offer no warranty as there is no reciept given. Five AD is warantied through JRP for 1 year.

CanJam is working on a FR-S race car right now for the Scion Tuner Challenge.

They are going to be turbocharging the FA20 motor. Roll cage. Aftermarket suspension. etc etc.

I think they are the first in Toronto to turbocharge the FA20. They are still designing the manifold and piping right now. Also working with Darton and some other companies for forged internals and sleeves.
