Yes (to both comments) but other then a handful of larger urban centers the cars are spread across a much great geographic area. I can go for months without even seeing another one.

This is a problem and can leave owners in Canada with the feeling that they are completely alone.

Oh I can just drive an hour north and they are freakin' everywhere!

I'll be curious to see the sales numbers after the 2017s start coming out.

I have a feeling that announcing the shuttering of Scion isn't making people run out and buy the 2016.

Or has had zero effect since the numbers are right in line with the trend.

2017 isn't much more than a facelift, we need ToyobaruSTiFR-SBRZGT86 350FT/LBS Boosted w/Brembos AWD $50k 3500lbs but still looks cool anyway!

I'm totally kidding I actually have been absolutely loving this car just bone stock even. Just hover around 6k all day, it's good, it's fine, it's good, that BMW in the rearview will be gone after the first turn anyway.

X2, someone in another thread mention with Scion gone all Toyota dealerships are now able to sell the 86/FR-S and not just Toyota dealerships with Scion showrooms. So I would think that might boost or just keep sales about the same.

Yes^
The transition to Toyota dealers will provide almost 8 times the exposure the car got as a Scion. I had the number of Toyota vs Scion dealers someplace but can't seem to find it now.

I wouldn't say zero effect, but it's probably not a huge difference.
