Opinions please - selling my FRS

I'll be selling my FRS sometime in August, in anticipation of another car I have orderd. What I'm wondering is are there buyers out there who are not timid buying a properly set up NA FRS without being silly over the top.

Or are buyers mostly interested in stock cars?

I have all the OEM parts, so anyone interested in an OEM car can also pull all the parts of and make out pretty damn good on the buy!

What do you think I can get for it as is with all OEM and aftermarket parts?
What do you think I can get for it, returned to OEM without the aftermarket parts?

I'm the original owner. 2013, 26,000 miles on the car. Motul 300V oil changed three times a year. Motul RFB 600 brake fluid changed once a year. No accidents.

Excuse the cell phone quality picture:

Without sounding too harsh, "properly set up NA car" is largely subjective. Regardless of make or model, you will almost always come out on top selling aftermarket parts and car as oem. Plus personalized stuff, like the plastidip needs to go as well. You are correct buyers prefer oem for several reasons, including the unseen such as how aftermarket parts were installed, etc.

Gl with your sale and enjoy your replacement toy on order

You have a lot of basic mods. You will either have someone who wants those mods (small market) or you put it back to stock and increase your customer base. Either way, the listed mods don't really add too much value and indicates the car has been tracked.

*edit* the orange paint detracts from purchase too, as 99.9% of people would have to replace that asap.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Not really interested in coming on top making more money. Just interested in selling it without getting hit depreciating it beyond OEM value because it's got a few bits here and there.

Thank you guys.

Others have said it best, back to stock would be best or test it as is before you need it sold. Good luck on the sale,

what is the replacement car?

Stock is always best when you buy used.

If your selling a highly modified car my first question is: why is he selling it?
Either he fucked something or something isn't right. Your pretty much buying someone else's headache.

With a stock car you can pin point any issues the car might have down the road. With a modded car you'll be guessing.

To be blunt and honest I would not buy your car with the orange highlights or what ever that is. I would pay a bit more for a bone stock one. But you never know, some kid might jump on that.

Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, I hear you all.

The GP red (orengish) color fangs and the other trims are actually not bad in person. I know it may look a bit cheesy in the pictures, but I do get a lot of complements on how the car looks. Not that I care, but a lot of younger as well as middle aged women complement the look, and always gets them turning around as car goes by, or check it out in their rear view mirror. Anyways, as heart braking as it may be do undo my baby, that's what I gotta do! I always joked about the trim with people saying, when it grows up it wants to be a GT3-RS!

As for what car, I held on for well over a year for the upcoming Supra/FT-1, only to find out FT-1 was nothing other than a advertising stunt, and it's going the path of NSX! God only knows if they ever come out with one. We still haven't seen the real concept car...anyways I've given up, especially since FT-1 appealed to me because of its somewhat revolutionary design. But if it's going to be another car like the rest of them for ease of fabrication and production, I'm out. So I'm going with the next best thing, an Anti-FRS! IMHO the most capable NA car for well under $100K, and it comes with gold chain and all! I just have to grow a porn star mustache now! 2017 C7 Grand Sport!

A lot of guys driving the twins can hardly grow a mustache, I suspect.

I too have been considering change, after I get a good decade out of my suspercharged twin. Maybe my son will want it then if he can get insured. LOL

I got the $ for an upgraded car, but cant budget for moving to a house with a bigger garage.
