Body shop in Toronto/Markham

Anybody know a good body shop in Toronto/Markham/Richmond Hill that would paint an entire front bumper to match the Asphalt/DGM color?

Anybody know roughly how much it'd cost?

European autobody really good. Authorized for ferrari i believe. $600 just to paint and $1200 to paint&blend i believe.

Holy shit that's expensive... I was thinking like 200~300

Has anyone with a DGM BRZ had a part of the car repainted and matched to the rest? How did it turn out, was it identical? Which paint did you use?

I've called around today to a few shops, they all quoted me around 250-300$ for a 2 (layer?) process. Hope they don't fuck it up.

I've seen that sort of work in that price range on other people's cars and trust me it'll look like absolute shit.

Is the bumper new or is this a repair? If it's a repair then the bulk of the labor goes to prepping it for painting.

It's brand new from factory, unpainted.

Still gonna look like shit?

I talked to them and they said they'd match the paint according to my VIN.

Dealer authorized body shops are usually the best.

Get a quote from Don Valley North Toyota's body shop and see what their price is to compare.

I'm not sure how hard it is to color match DGM (metallic), but I can tell you pearl paint is usually a challenge to match properly (I've seen it not done well for less than $500 bucks). Find a body shop that does a lot of Toyota / Subaru / Lexus.

Hmm, I'll give my dealership a call. (I'm with Willowdale Subaru)

Don't use the one with Willowdale Subaru, even their staff told me in private that their authorized body shop had such a bad rep for doing poor jobs in the past.

They did a really bad job replacing my rear hatch spoiler on my old Golf GTI warranty job with Volkswagen Villa (same owner as Willowdale Subaru). I made them do it twice and I got so crossed afterwards that I traded in the Golf for the BRZ next door the day I got the car back lol!

My friend told me Woodbine Luxury Cars body shop in Markham does a lot of Lexus cars.

I remember watching a vid of a guy's WRX getting scraped on the floor and then the guy driving it came out and kicked the front bumper, all of which was caught on the guys dash-cam.

Recommend me going to Subaru Richmond Hill then? I really want this done right, but I'm not to sure I'm willing to pay $1000+ for it, kinda ridiculous to paint a brand new factory bumper with no paint on it.

Has anyone else with a DGM colorway had their paint matched in Toronto?

Does anyone know if Chipmaster in Markham is any good? It's got a good amount of good reviews.
