How much and what is a dongle lol

The dongle is what holds the EcuTek license.

A brand new dongle is $165. A brand new cable is $150.

Hey its an offer. Whoever buys this is then going to have to find a dealer for the dongle and the license. Then hope it all works.

Just offering what I think would be worth my time to go to different retailers to piece it together.

My dongle moved a bit at the sight of some of those gifs.

The dongle does not hold the Ecutek license. It is transferred from Ecutek servers to the ecu when used. The dongle is a pass key for the Ecutek software. The dongle ID is used by Ecutek to determine if it is allowed to use the license. If you have the dongle, you should sell it with the cable, otherwise it is useless. If your tuner kept your dongle, you should request they return it. With the dongle it is worth $275+

I'll offer you $51 for it with no dongle. :)

This is true. The cable isn't worth anything without the dongle. The dongle allows the person to use the software. Your ECU holds the license on it.

So having the license on the ecu with both the dongle and cable allow the car to be tuned.

Maybe lower your price to something reasonable. You've been told how much it's worth with no dongle. The dongle is needed to use it. There is no tuning license on the dongle. It is a software key embedded in a USB drive. If you want $200+ you need to find the dongle. Without it expect to get offers from 50-100.
