Not sure if this will come through.. link to casc forums but OMSC is putting on an AutoX at the Whitby campus of durham college on July 3. These guys always put on a good event with bbq lunch and all!

Been to various track days but never autocrossed before. Any specific requirements? Or is it just a show-up and drive event?

you need a helmet and some masking tape to put a number on your car


and have a full list of your mods ready for classification purposes

Is there any instruction provided at the event? Sounds like driving only

Lots of guys at these usually willing to offer instruction or let you ride with them. The hardest part of autoX is learning the course, once you have that down then it comes down to refining your line and learning whats faster.

I'll be there and available to offer some advice/rides or ride along with you if you like. Not sure if i'll bring the brz or mini, but will be number 104 most likely.
