Audio Setups
 

Hello All,

I am in the process of finding ideas for audio upgrades. I don't want to get the OEM audio plus kit mainly because of price and I want more power than what it offers. I have tried to youtube and google some audio set ups, but can only find the OEM Audio Plus setups.


So far my ideas for the upgrade are:
Hifonics Brutus BRX12D4 12inch sub
Homemade fiberglass shell for the trunk
Hifonics BRX 5000.5 amplifier (planning on making an enclosure for it)
Polk Audio DB651 6.5" coaxial speakers (front door)
Polk Audio DB401 4" coaxial speakers (dash and rear)
Alpine ILX-007 Carplay headunit
Dynamat for the doors and trunk

If anyone has any input, ideas, tips and tricks I encourage you to please comment. And if anyone has a custom audio setup of their own I also ask you to comment and send some pictures.

Haha thanks for the shop recommendation, but I am and audio installer myself. I run a small business by word of mouth in my parents garage.

Wow thats pretty good maybe I'll get them to make my sub box for me.

That's one fat ass of an amp. I really don't know where you'll mount that beast with out taking up usable space.

As for YouTube vids OEM audio are basically the same thing just with out their amp and enclosure thingy. You'll just have to get creative where you mount your amp.

My case I took a que from the factory set up and just cut off the right side of support foam and placed my amp there. Nicely tucked away all the space minus my generic sub enclosure.

Haha fat amp for some fat bass. Ill probably mount it wither under the floor mats or under the rear deck. I had the amp for a while it was used for my project "Bass Cannon," I just didnt feel like spending another $500 on amps. I could probably find cheaper ones but as an audiophile I enjoy higher end audio.

Alright so a few parts came in :party0030: Ill probably install them this weekend. Ill keep ya guys updated. I haven't seen any other audio build threads, guess this is the first.
