Slight faint whislte on slow acceleration

I feel like im just being paranoid. Just in 1,2,3 gear at low rpm i hear the faintest whistle. To me just sounds like driveshaft or something spinning up to speed. Its so faint like a toothless whistle. Having no codes or other issues. Idle is steady.

Anybody elses cars have a faint winding up noise from start off if u go slow? Notice it mostly in parking lots. Hear it most driving out of my complex as theres speed bumps( more like speed squares) every 15 ft. So i have to go slow slow. Almost like a very mild version of the way some cars whine in reverse

After watching a handful of test drive videos ive realized they all make a high pitching windy noise on slow take off at low rpm. Figured so!

Mine does the same as well. It's a low pitched whining noise.

whistle tips go WOOOOO WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

sdemo 06-20-2016 05:40 PM

it's the sound tube. plug and or remove it = problem solved

Figured it was the sound tube. Recently put stock intake back on! Felt like i noticed the whistle more.

Arent the crickets at idle? More of a chirp? Chirp chirp chirp chirp, multiple times a second. This is like smooth steady faint whistle. Happens when i let off throttle and coast too. Ima find a plug for the intake and take out the sound generator. See what happens!

OHHHH dude you need to get used to the noises these things make. If you freak out every time you hear something new you are gonna have a bad time.
I still hear new noises all the time. Hell, even the old noises take me by surprise every now and then.
If the noise is really bad something else will tell you there is and issue so as long as there are no CELs or it doesn't stop on you then just think "oh cool an other instrument in the symphony".

If i was familiar with the vehicle i wouldnt be worried! I just like to make sure everythig is how it should be. Almost want to go test drive one with a few thousand miles. Or get a full dealership diagnostic, but ive lost faith in dealership techs
