PICK UP ONLY

I am selling the motor and transmission out of my 2013 FRS, **PLEASE READ** the motor developed a knock a few months back. I was riding down the interstate and the oil light came on so I pulled over and heard a knock and immediately turned it off and never cranked it again. Knock was pretty loud so I'm pretty sure the bottom end is toast. Will come with absolutely everything other than the wiring harness. Transmission shifted perfectly and has a cusco tranny bushing. Motor had 28k miles and has a Perrin crank pulley.

Yea I'm curious as well. The powertrain warranty is 5 yrs 60k miles, but it might be hard to get it covered due to powertrain mods I suppose?

@justatroll ^^^^^^ Dat pulley???

I would have at least tried the warranty route, but you wouldnt get any love with a failed lower end and a LWCP.

But if it is a rod knock, it might be completely unrelated to the pulley.

I didn't try to warranty it because I had flex fuel on the car, I had ecutek tune, caltess header, full exhaust, etc, etc.. Not worth the hassle to me. I had already wanted to do a swap so no reason to put time and money into just hoping to get it covered under warranty when I could just buy the motor I really want.
