Opti-Coat done by Detail My Car

I just wanted to share how my car looks after Opti-Coat. My 2013 FRS sits in the elements 24/7, makes frequent snowboarding trips to Blue Mountain, and fishing/camping trips during summer. The car had a fair amount of swirls, micro scratches, and a couple of deeper scratches

I brought my car to David at Detail My Car for an interior detail as well as the Opti-Coat Pro+. David and his team did a great job at removing all of the micro scratches, and the deeper scratches are hard to notice. Needless to say, I'm very happy with the way everything came out. The exterior was looking better than when I bought the car last February, and the interior smells amazing. I highly recommend David and his team.

Sorry I didn't take before pictures, I wasn't planning on making a post

This was right after I got the car back but it started raining shortly after

How much did it cost for them to get the scratches out?

It's part of the process before you can apply the opti-coat. The paint gets decontaminated, 2 stage polish, then opti-coat gets applied.

For the pro+ it was $1200, but if you just want to get rid of microscratches I think a good polish will do.

Opticoat is the single best thing I've ever done on any car that wasn't part of normal maintenance.

The only thing that I could top it with is AFTER they do the paint correction, pay for a clear bra on the front end AND then opti-coat it.

I had my car opticoated, but it was recently damaged, and the cost has gone way up... it will cost as much to do my front bumper and partial fenders as it cost to do my whole car...

f that.. 1800 to replace my front bumper cover, fog, signal light etc, and 1600 to replace clear bra and re-coat it...

As much as i like the stuff its looking like its priced out of my reach nowadays.
