My OFT was stolen, what do I do

I was away for a few weeks and I just got home yesterday to discover that my car had been broken into and my OpenFlash tablet is gone. It had my stock ECU file... What do I do.
I'm currently running the stage 1 93 octane tune, and I just got my new header that I was going to install Saturday.

There is nothing unique about the stock ROM, I have posted most of them up at the end of the Tactrix link below if you need them

You just need to buy another flash device now, hopefully insurance may cover it ?

If I got just another OFT what would I need to do? When I plug it in it will notice that I don't have a stock ROM anymore. (I'm new to this and pulling my hair out)

The new oft will marry up no problem, its just that it will read in your stage1 tune as the 'stock' map.

This will just mean if you unmarry this new oft the car will still have a stage1 oft tune in ecu which will be fine on a stock car if you put stuff back to stock.

As your stock rom in oft is not stock oft wont auto generate tunes so you just have to download the latest tunes from oft site and upload them manually to oft with open flash manager software

Thank you @steve99 !!
I had thought that OFT could only pair with fully OEM tunes, and that it would reject even another OFT tunes. Glad I was wrong.

This is good to know since the guy that I had tune my car is having issues fully connecting to the ECU. It worked fine on the initial dyno tune and when I brought it back regarding the P0420 issue but nothing since. It can read my VIN and ECU but nothing beyond that now. He has a new cable so I am going to have him try that. If there is still no luck with the new cable, it is good to know that I can download the stock ROM from your Tactrix link if needed.

@steve99 So I got a new OFT and synced it with my car, it read just fine but wouldn't write. I understand why it wouldn't (non-stock original file).
However something really weird happened and I would like a little input, if possible, before I continue:
The original Cal ID was ZA1A01C (and that's what the file loaded currently is)
However: the Cal ID pulled off the car now is ZA1B01C
BUT: when I tried to write a B01C file to the OFT in OFM it said "the file selected is not compliant"
SO: I tried an A01C file for kicks, and it worked (checksum corrected and all)! Is it okay to flash the A01C file that OFM decided was correct (and matched my original Cal ID)?
Thanks!!

Also @Shiv@Openflash

Yeah thats normal, oft flashes the leatest tune compatble with the car in you case your A01C was updated to B01C, however its a calid hacked rom so in some cases it reports A01C but its actually a B01C.

you will now have to manually load A01C roms to get OFT to write i believe. these are actually B01C internally, in fact the OFT A01C and B01C roms are identical except for the calid change.

This is a fear of mine with my OFT. I'm scared it will get stolen or break, and I'll have no way to flash back to stock tune and unmarry, if I wanted to sell tablet/car.

Tactrix will do it either buy your own $170 or borrow one

Thanks Steve, it worked! I'm finally back on track.
