Who plays racing sims?
 

What racing sim to you guys play? Since I only have an xbox I play Forza and Project Cars, but I love watching people play iRacing on twitch.

I used to play a lot of Gran Turismo and started up on DriveClub. Even wanted to purchase a good steering wheel and pedal set (including clutch, of course) but never got around to do it. it has been a while.

I have my PC set up with an Acer XR34 ultrawide, Fury X and a G27 wheel with a dx racer chair. It's decent but I wish I could have a dedicated setup.


For games I mostly play Project Cars & Assetto Corsa.

I used to play this all the time after school on my Famicom Disk System (wish I had the powered 3D glasses like the more privileged kids)

I think Sega Club Kart was the most fun to play at the arcade (the machine assembly is the entire go kart). Too bad arcades are long gone. Dam you consoles!

Now, I occasionally play Real Racing 3 on my phone, but a real-life gokart, even an electric rental one, beats all those fake Porsches and Vipers.

gran turismo. can't wait for gt sport!

Assetto Corsa is pretty excellent.

Dirt Rally isn't bad, I still like RSRBR modded Richard Burns Rally, too.

I have a Fanatec GT3 RS v2 that I'm pretty partial to, with clubsport (load cell) pedals. I actually don't play all that much, but it's pretty fun when I bother.

BREAKING NEWS: Gran Turismo has collaborated with the FIA to offer a "digital license that will hold the same value as one in real life"...to certain racing organizations.

So all those hours spent lapping the Nurburgring could actually be useful :bonk:
