Matching LED's with HID's

I'm trying to set up my fogs, front turn signals, and headlights to be the same color. I'm using LED's for my fogs and front turn signals and HID for my headlights. Can any one help me out in matching the color to make them look the same or as closely as possible? I just can't get it right from some odd reason. I'm looking for a 6k finished look.

Thad a fairly hard task to accomplish, trying to match up two different kinds of light. You would be better off doing an LED head light conversion instead of HID.

OEM HIDs are always 4300K. Which I don't think you can get in LED, but you can get 4000K. 6000K LED foglights make the 4300K HIDs look dirty and yellow.

And the next problem with that is brands, always try to use the same brand bulbs too. I've dealt with and sold various different HID kits, you can take a 6000k from brand x and and a 6000k from brand y, and they're two very different colors.

Try Diode Dynamics, they have all the stuff you're looking for. I've had a good experience with them so far and I have the 6000k.

Try not putting an HID kid in a halogen reflector for starters. Also 6k is a dogshit color that will actually HURT your night vision. Especially in the wrong housing.

People have been making this mistake for over a decade, it's amazing that so many still do.

Thank you everyone for your responses! I've always wanted to try Diode Dynamics but I was a bit cautious about them for I didn't know anyone who had them or seen any in person running all diode dynamics.

All mine match. See my build thread. ;) I did yellow matching Provia headlight and fog light overlays from Rallysport direct. However you're looking for the slightly super white towards purple color at the other end of the light spectrum.

They're a vendor here. I've had their 6000K LED foglight bulbs for about two years now with no problems.
