OBD2 to phone app?
 

So I got an OBD cable from amazon to connect my laptop to my car and use techstream, and I also have an adapter to connect any USB device to my phone. My phone can now access flash drives, hard drives, use keyboards, mice, and essentially I can hook up my phone to my car.

Anybody know of an app that can take advantage of this equipment?

I think most people are running Torque?

I just got a blue tooth reader and was going to try the Torque app.
Does any one know if the free version is OK, or just spend the 5 bucks and get the full version?

The free vesion works fine, if you want to do more fancy stuff like add pid for oil temps and fancy dash displays you have to spring for the $5

Pay the $5. worth it to get the oil temp reading if you do any hard driving

I got the paid app :D but... I haven't been able to use it cuz when I connect it to my car using the adapter, on the top of the screen it says Error: Admin does not have android permissions. Any ideas guys? I checked the app permissions on my phone settings and I allowed it all its asking for (not that I have the choice to even revoke permissions).
