Passed TN Emissions today
 
I have a catless Open Flash Header, Greddy Supreme SP cat back drop in A'pexi air filter and I'm running Shiv's new stg2-OFH tune. I have customized the MAF scale and I made sure only the (po420) Catalyst system efficiency below threshold was turned off. And it passed :happyanim::w00t::burnrubber:

You have know idea how bad it can suck, I have a 78 jeep cj-5 with a 304-v8 that I bought when I was a in high school. the guy that owned it before me cut the cat's off and took all the smog stuff off with Headers and side pipes well then they started smog testing I couldn't drive it. for 2yrs till I could get an antique tag. Now i don't have to worry about it anymore.

I'm interested in the details of the test. Do they simply connect to OBDII and verify no CEL present and system reports ready? Do they do a sniffer? Or do they do both?

They do the OBDII check to newer cars. They do use a big mirror to look under the car and see if you have a Cat.
