I had this problem too. It makes the noise when you're driving also. This noise is really really annoying.

It's also a really bad noise. Poor choice of materials and/or treatment on Subie's part.

Engineering fail. I am disappoint.

The issue isnt so much I press the clutch while im not driving its just knowing that it does that. If it becomes a larger problem down the road, id rather deal with it now.

For OP's info, THIS is what my dealer did. Pretty much, they replaced many things inside of the bell housing and then ended up the noise wasn't from there. They lubed the clutch fork mentioned in this thread and that got rid of the noise. Been 9 months since then and still no sign of the noise.

So, it might worth trying it first. info here

So i took my car to the dealer, they did some lubrication and cleaning of the fork/clutch assembly, they disconnected the slave apparently. Its now not always making the squeak lol. Ill probably bring it back sometime soon ... I just hope its not the bearing

It may be more than just parts needing lube. I brought mine in for the same issue and the dealer tried lubricating everything first. That didn't fix the issue, so I took it back in.

Here's what they ended up doing to actually fix it:

Ever since I removed the boot near the slave and lubed up inside there last year the squeak comes and goes once and a blue moon. Most of the time the clutch will be silent and smooth with only some noise and roughness in certain weather conditions.

@Kinickie the description of your issue sounds just like mine. How much did they charge you?

Nothing, if was covered by the warranty.

Took my car Last year for this issue, dealer change all the components of the clutch and lubricate everything.. now the squeak came back!.... Super fun :barf: and my car is off warranty now.

The car was less than 3 years old and had 28k on it, so it was my regular Subaru warranty.
