Dealer flashed ecu now cel and tcs unscannable
Car was idleing odd. Dealer flashed ecu with software to fix it. Didnt chsnge idle issue. Cleaned my maf sensor with maf sensor cleAner and i put new oiled airfilter on intake. Car went to shit. Sputtering stalling. Check engine light, slip indicator light. Went back to dealer. They tried to read codes and the car was a ghost. Obd Wouldnt evenrecognize the car. Didnt find anything. It has NEVER been tuned
Why couldthe dealer update ecu but not read codes? Ifeel they screwed it up |
Why are you creating a duplicate thread to discuss the same issues? Also wouldn't this be a better idea in the software or engine section as opposed to the TSB section?

I have no idea what "tsb" means. Its an issue do dowith dealer. Other posts title isnt accurate to the issue
|
Technical Service Bulletin. Usually how they release info on recalls.

Hmmm maf cleaner... For this car I don't recommend.... Our maf is so sensitive.
Anyway, take back to dealer. Btw, after reflash I had to run my car like 40min so codes could be read. |
Ah yes i had my battery unplugged all day as well. I figure im only 15 minutes from dealer so maybetje ecu hadnt fully rebooted yet

Maybe take it to another dealer?

Ithink ihave a pretty good theory on what happend. Car was not tuned previously. Injen intake had maf sensor on threshhold. Once the dealer reflashed ecu to i assume recalibrate maf sensor trim for idle sputter that it threw my injen intake even further off. Hence the light coming on and it running worae. If only ONE PERSON in lowermainland could have a damn stock intake for me to test this theory
|
so you have an intake but no tune....
