I dig it.

I wish it had a data overlay with speeds and g forces. That is very impressive though.

For the record, here are the current record times. This car is only a few seconds off the Supersport TT record.

Don't worry, Subaru will milk this for the next 2 years. Their 2014 video with the info you seek showed up weeks after the event...

Oh, I'm sure. And the only reason this record is being smashed by a Subaru STi is because no one has taken the time to run it in a faster car. I'd love to see a Porsche GT2 with the same level of preparation try it.

raven1231 06-08-2016 02:59 PM

Oh I didn't realize they got a video of my run!

raven1231 06-08-2016 03:00 PM

Seriously what a disappointment....a veyron could have done this faster. Or a twin with some pilot super sports on it.

krayzie 06-08-2016 04:04 PM

This is the rally car they wish they would be still building to compete in yesteryear's WRC Group A.

If you want to go faster around this track you need a full on time-attack car, GT3 spec racer or something that runs Pikes Peak

That STi is Veyron demolishing lvl fast

It's a +600hp race spec STi that weighs less than an FRS.

A stock GT2 would get comically lol stomped by this particular STi....

You missed some key words there. *with the same level of preparation...* No Subaru will ever hang with a racing spec gt2.

This

And tbh this particular track is probably less about the car and more about the driver who has the balls to go harder than the next guy.

As much as i think this whole thing is "cool" it is nothing more than a showcase, if this ever became competitive people would die on a pretty regular basis and it would be banned instantly...

Lets just leave the nurburgring as the benchmark for cars

Love watching the suspension do its thing, the damping is amazing. Watch how it instantly settles after taking air.
