I don't think the wiring will be a straight swap for new BRZ to old BRZ either because the DRLs on the old BRZs were a completely separate lamp while AFAICT, the DRLs on the new BRZs are now part of the headlamps.

You are correct! I somehow had this completely backwards since the FRS lights were part of the headlights and the BRZ was separate.

That is the price for the '13-'16 monogram/RS style headlight. I have already pulled the trigger on the headlights and am loving them. GLWS
