i washed the car, removed the old antenna, quick detailed the entire roof, then installed the new antenna. zero issues so far. but i also ordered the oem sharkfin as new from a dealer, so it's possible there could be some quality issues with either a used, or aftermarket component. and while you're up there, i recommend a third brake light relocation as well! |

No waaaay man, I say keep the original antenna. Shark fin is popular across a lot of makes and models but how many have an RC car antenna??😂👍🏽👍🏽

Be careful of that yellow wash and wax. IMO seemed to deteriorate my black plastic vents on the side. I prefer Meguiar's Deep Crystal or Gold Class now.
And leave the RC car antenna! |
