Versatile Varis FRS By ShinjukuDevil

this is my first build and also sports car, I bought it with the intention of being a very versatile car, one that can on a whimp go to the track and put up a fight, a daily-able machine and one that could compete for show and shine. It's been a long three years, completion is at 75%, just here and there left, for now, here is my pride and joy.

I know first two images are dups, I'll fix it when I get home.

Very nice! i've always thought the arising II kit to be one of the best looking kits around. was your build inspired by the original runduce car (especially the hood/bumper cover paint scheme)?

Yes, saw the catalogue in early 2013 before I bought my car, I knew I had to replicate the style and scheme. Not many people know this!

I kept looking at between the pictures trying to determine what the difference was, hahha. Thanks for clarifying in the end :)

The car looks awesome though! nice work!

The car is gorgeous, very nice build! What else have you done in the interior beyond the Bride seats? Also, how did you deal with the airbag sensor on the passenger stock seat?

I've done exterior first and interior last, going to be replacing every trim pieces with carbon, have an amuse r1 knob coming, cusco steering wheel and other things.

Airbag sensor I threw in a 3.3r resistor and re used the OEM magnetic sensor to shut off the car and airbag light.

Great looking 86! Surely one of my faves on the forum.

I almost pulled the trigger on the same non-widebody set up... I think the Varis Arising kit (wide-body or not) is the best available for the 86...you have done it complete justice!

Looking forward to updates!

Yes! Thanks for posting more pics ;) Love it, Arising II is a dream of mine, but imported to Sweden would make it cost about as much as the car itself :(

Heavily, my photographer photoshopped all the rock chips out of my front bumper.
