Scion going away...chances of getting exclusive parts
 

Pretty soon Scion will go away and the FR-S will become Toyota. Does that mean we can finally get exclusive parts (Monogram LED lights, RS 1.0 bodykit, etc.) for the stock FR-S without a VIN check?

No.

Exclusive parts will remain exclusive. Part of the reason those VIN checks exist is because there are only so many of those parts available. Just because Scion is gone does not mean they will start pumping out those special parts.

What he said. Besides all FRS parts are really Toyota TRD parts. The only thing that would be rare would be the badges.
