4 bar map sensor on complete stock brz

Hi so I just but my brz back to stock. I had an ecutek tune with the ptuning turbo kit. I have not been able to find a stock map sensor and a new one is $300. I was wondering if I could just use an aftermarket 3 bar or 4 bar map sensor on a stick brz since they are about $100?

Yes, you just need to adjust the MAP sensor scaling.

Ok is this hard to do or should i just try and find a used map sensor. im pretty savvy with computers but i never messed with the tune. I just recenlty flashed a stock map back on to my ecu.

you will need access to a flash system anf ecu rom editor if you have ecutek cable/licience ect you wll be able to do it

find the MAP multiplier and offset tables in the tune tables and change the two parameters to suit the MAP sensor,

o it might just be easier to get a used stock MAP sensor from an auto wreckers/recycler

Omni 2.5 Bar MAP

The OFT300 (Vortex supercharger) map uses the 2.5 BAR Omni and has CEL-P0068 disabled in the map
ok for 2.5 Bar OMNI MAP sensor ECUTEK scaling in BAR

Manifold Pressure Sensor multiplier in bar per volt. = 0.500
Manifold pressure sensor offset. Value is measured in bar. = 0.100
MAP Sensor voltage max = 5.0v
MAP sensor Voltage min = 0.0v

Omni 3 Bar MAP Sensor (Metric in Bar)
0.617 - MULTIPLIER
0.03 - OFFSET
scaling limits 0 - 4.75v

Omni 4 Bar MAP Sensor
Manifold Pressure Sensor Scaling - (imperial PSI)
Multiplier - 12.087
Offset - 0.168
Metric/Bar

bar/volt .833
offset (bar) .012

Manifold Pressure Sensor Limits - (CEL still comes on )
High Input CEL Above - 5.00v
Low Input CEL Below - 0.00v
Disable CEL P0103 and P0068

I'm pretty sure have an extra stock one. I'll trade you it for your 4 bar. If you'd like me to check. let me know.

I'll stop by my ranch on the way home and make sure it's still on my other intake.
