GT86 5-peat at Nurburgring
 

A GT86 won the V3 class at the 24 hours of Nurburgring for the 5th year in a row (66th out of 156 finishers). Mercedes AMG GT3s finished 1-4 overall. The V3 class is essentially stock and used to have a bunch of competitors, but it seems the twins are the cars to have, so this year it was 2 GT86s and a BRZ.

Wtf, i was rooting for the brz.

also worth noting is the epic wrecks 45 minutes into the race.

Even better video of what happened. The track went from dry to completely covered in standing water in less than 2 minutes... then it iced over.

Just so it's clear for everyone who isn't a fan of the race: the V3 class this year consisted of two GT86s and a BRZ. They had a pretty good chance.

That was crazy skating rink on the track from the hail. Subaru WRX STI won SP3T class again this year beating the Audi TT-RS.
