Air Ride + Wheel fitment ?

So i was reading off a forum about the wheel specs on our cars having to change if we are bagged. I haven't purchased air ride yet but I'm really motivated to buy it. Would a 18x9 et 38
fit with not much camber ? I'm trying to keep camber only in the rear wheels if any. I would mind little but i don't want like - 10 degrees camber or anything like that. Any one have input on this ?

You will rub on the bags with 18x9 +38. I am running 18x8.5 +25 with 225/40 and here are a few pics.

Thanks for the feed back bro! my question is ( maybe this is a dumb question but) Why is it that i would rub against the bag on a 9.5 38+ if on a regular suspension ( Like coils) i wouldn't rub. Another thing is Im surprised at your fitment! i can't believe its straight up and down. I thought anything past 30 would be extreme camber. Whats your camber at ?

My camber is at like -.5 in the front. Airbags on the struts are wider than springs. So when the bag is full of air it sticks out more.

I'm running 18X9.5 +35 and was clear until i lowered the coil more. Depending on where you set the coil youll have issues. I'm to the floor now and need at least 10 mm spacers to be cleared up front, but need to have camber on the back since I added 20 mm spacers. you dont need the spacers for the rear because the bag is thinner.

Thanks for the input man super clean ride! What Offset and wheel size would you recommend running to clear the bag and also to not get much camber build up ? i wouldn't mind natural camber its just i don't wanna be 12 degrees up front haha

If you dont want to run much camber i know people who run 18x8.5 up front and 9.5 rear +35 offset

Yea, you should be okay with that. My rear fitment in those pics is with natural camber and 18x9.5 +35 in the rear. Only clearence issue i have right now is in the front and its by less than an inch so 8.5 should clear as long as you make sure you get your alignment after you change the suspension. Sorry for the late response, got side tracked with things and forgot about this.

i didnt bother looking up what fits with our airlift bags and ended up getting lucky.

I have a good amount of room between the bag and barrel on my 9.5 +5 fitting fender to lip, but if i had a fatter tire it would definitely rub the bag. i have a 215/35 on my wheels

About to purchase my tires and wheels soon. I was going to go with a 17 x 9 +42 and run 245/40/17 Front and 255/40/17 rear. Do you think there will be any issues ?

That looks real clean, I have 18x9.5 +40 I'm trying to get that look. Would I need 15 mm in the front and 25 in the back to achieve this?

I'm totally ignorant about air bags. But is this somethings you guys installed yourself? I mean I would imagine it's possible if one knows how to fire a car radio and install struts. Also how does the air bag affect the ride quality and handling? I love the handling of our cars and I would hate to change it but at the same time I love the look and convenience air bags provide.

curious how you guys would think 17x9 +35 would fit with bags? sounds like with bags over coils it would depend on the coil setting?
