TRD Aero Parts

Hey guys thinking about changing up the look of my FRS a bit and I'm thinking of going the TRD route as its not too crazy and a bit subtle.

Thinking of going with the standard TRD front bumper spoiler/lip in the front, the standard TRD side skirts, (both of these are the same that come with the Release Series 1.0 yellow cars) and the maybe nothing in the rear or maybe the nur spec rear bumper side spoilers since I want to run the TRD quad tip muffler with the stock bumper and the garnishes (I dont like the TRD rear bumper spoiler)

Does any know if there are any good quality knock offs of these on Ebay or something? I did a little research regarding pricing and the TRD front bumper spoiler/lip alone is around $950?

As far as I know it's just a lip pretty much right? Not an entire replacement bumper? Kinda crazy to pay that just because it's TRD.

Gotta try to save that cash where you can!

Thanks guys! Appreciate it!

Try Bayson R

They have a lot of replicas for cheap. IMO, I'd rather go for the real deal.

The TRD parts are extremely reasonably priced... in Japan. Make sure you factor in the cost of paint on the Bayson R pieces.

nice thanks guys! thanks for the bayson r tip. and yeah i agree with you weederr33! normally id go with the original, but if the replica is good and there's really no difference (material is about the same, about the same weight etc) i dont care mind it being true trd or not.

besides if its a good replica no one will really know if its true trd or not. except you lol

at the end of the day, its just a piece of plastic, and its going to get hit at the track with bugs and pieces of rubber and rock chips. so best save the cash for other mods that will have more benefit in regards to performance for your investment. like a tune, header, exhaust, brakes, wheels etc

all of which isnt cheap! need to win the lottery man lol

sure does cost a lot! I nearly keeled over when I had calculated all I spent including shipping and clearing etc

n I too didn't get the rear bumper lip, not a fan of it

" good quality knock offs"
you get what you pay for, most of the reps warp over time being parked in the sun

I have the OEM ones. They have gone through some abuse...I think they are worth their price. The paint has been solid and I've had lifts press against the skirt, and gone off track, etc. And they have held up solidly. Another thing is the rubber garnish really protects the adhesive that keeps the kit on. I've seen the reps start separating and getting a bit messy from dirt/water.

By the way, the RS 1.0 and TRD are not the same. Very similar, but not the same.

Also, I think the Bayson-R will probably work just fine, and that's coming from someone who has bought the genuine TRD kit (minus rear bumper) and other TRD pieces.
