Other then liking your awesome armrest, I forget to mention to you. Have you look the interior of the hyperblues? If you haven't you should go look at the gadget counter visor. I been trying to find the part number for that.

Yes theirs is blue stitched.

I second that. Maybe we can figure something out for our cars. I am dying to figure out a way to get the stitching done for stuff like this.

I've seen a picture or two, I haven't sat in one I need to -- do you have a picture for what you're talking about? And thanks :D

What else do you want to stitch besides an arm rest? But yeah I'm sure you can! Also random aside I have a series blue Facebook group if anyone of you guys want to join which I really made to bring together ideas like this -- obviously the forums great too haha :party0030:

Of course! It's just a matter of finding the correct thread and then someone either willing to do it by hand or redo the entire piece -- if you find the thread you could contact the shop I used and see if they don't mind shipping it

Their is oem blue stitched with same type of the vinyl leather thing found on some interior. There is really no photo for it cuz ppl not anal enough like me to notice it. :party0030:

Well me personally, I want to get a TRD steering wheel but don't want the red stitching. would like to wrap the dash pieces in alcantara but need the Hyperblue stitching. In addition, the armrest piece as was aforementioned. Also, would like to get an STI shift knob with hyperblue stitching.

This links to a how-to for a gt500 steering wheel.

But (I'm hoping) the principle is the same for the FR-S ... Stitch along with new thread by hand an inch or two behind un-stitching the original.

I have not done this myself yet. But it's on my to-do list to match my color scheme. I figure if I can rewire headlamps I can probably handle the ominously scary thread and needle.
(Seats will be a bigger challenge - probably just outsource that when time comes.)

Worst case: auto zone for replacement wheel

Btw: he mentions "UV resistant anti-wiching polyester thread" ... Means "anti-wicking".

Here is an example vendor (not used them, just a quick google for thread info)

I would suggest working with JPM. I also have a series blue and there is no added cost over their pieces on the site to choose stitching color. I had them make Alcantara shift boot, ebrake, and cluster hood with blue stitching. I also had them custom make a job for me by sending in the actual ebrake and they recovered the handle with Alcantara and blue thread.
