Ablazed vs Firestorm
 

Hello people. I have a Ablazed 2016 FRS and I'm just trying to figure out if the Ablazed and the Firestorm red are even different. They look Almost alike in pictures. Does anyone know if its a major difference in paint? i wanna get a body kit pre painted but it comes in Firestorm red i wanna make sure its not gonna stand out like a sore thumb. :thumbdown:

its a triple coating, compared to the 13 and 14 being a double coat so it is different

If you try and put a Firestorm bodykit on an Abalze FRS, there will be an obvious difference. I wouldn't waste your money.

in PPG its not a tri stage, its just a base clear. but it is a different formula from c7p red. even so, not having the car to do a test card and tint the color if necessary will produce a match that's usually not ideal anyway.
