Good to meet you @Rio. Such a good time!

I hope it's not to presumptuous to ask, but could someone update this list? A lot of the dates on the old lists have passed.

Also a question. Having not taken a driver's course yet, are there track days, not necessarily autox, that allow novices the opportunity to participate? Or is a class mandatory?

I, 100%, will be going through classes, but I'm antsy to try out a track day. Not try to set records of course, just fast driving in a safer environment than roads. Thanks!

The dates do not change so there's no real need to update and it just isn't effective to keep removing old dates.

As for novice events, all events allow for novices. They split into novice intermediate and advanced groups or with autox you run for time only and you can always ask for an instructor.

If you come up to the Rose Cup this weekend, stop by the SCCA booth. One of us can tell you all about track days, the different clubs and even the different driving education events available in the region.

I would absolutely love to, but my car is still getting it's suspension installed. I noticed there was one at the end of August though, I'll definitely go if I can save enough money for a custom ultramarine helmet!

All we know is.... He's called The Stig

A lot of events also are created thru FB and theres a NW group there and that gets updated. A lot of the events I see just end up showing up on my news feed.

Oh! OK, good tip. That would have been awkward. So the helmet specs will be the same for autox or track days both?
