This is a potential great deal, groupbuy run by Apex Race Parts themselves! made to order wheels. Max goal of $250 off and free shipping, bringing the price to just under $800. If we can get 11 more pledged, we hit max goal.

This is a great wheel at a potential great price point, that is light weight and great for track use.

Also they way the pledging and onboard system they have for finishing the deal is great. Upon closing if the deal goes through, they only collect a $250 deposit, and the rest of the payment comes later.

If it matters, i am not an Apex rep., just a fellow 86'r wanting a nice set of wheels. Also because they are made to order, the will not start shipping till later this year since they are made to order, starting in August.

I would do this, but I'm only interested in the silver. It says they have to have a minimum of 13 for any given color to get produced. I don't want to get stuck with some other color.

You can pledge just for silver and not accept another color and not be charged anything if they dont make silver. I am hoping for silver too.

Well, unfortunately, the group buy did not go through due to the onboard goal not being met. Which is fine, but this is because more than half of the people were pledging to a goal of $250, which is why it was so important to get to the 30 pledged goal. But hopefully they will do another groupbuy in the future. Thanks to all who helped participate.

FYI, this is still up in the air. Apex is contacting those who pledged 250 to see if they would reconsider to meet the 200 goal. IF they ALL agree to accept the 200 discount, then the groupbuy can still come into fruition. They are also still accepting new orders but you'll have to PM or email them directly.
