It's just a friggin' car.

cjd 05-18-2016 11:26 PM

Oh, I don't drive the car at all. That damages it! I $pent way too much to hurt it in any way.

My main vehicle is my Harley, the BRZ is driven when the weather is too foul to ride. I live in Saskatchewan, summer is maybe 5 1/2 months, so, like @Tcoat posted...

Rain is just a good chance to have fun with less tire wear! :)

I just remembered one of the best meets we had was on @Jonesy86's rainy birthday. So, um, yeah, OP. Just get out there and drive it.

I love driving in the rain. It's the only time I don't have to redline it to break traction!

HunterGreene 05-19-2016 10:20 AM

I am concerned for OP, who is worried about driving in the rain when they actually do get ice and snow occasionally in North Carolina...

Andrew025 05-19-2016 10:23 AM

Lol you plebs drive in the rain?
Like, who does that?

I laugh at rain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a man with either zero fear, or has embraced the insanity so hard he strangled it and it become part of him.

Then I remembered it's @Tcoat and that he's Canadian... So a usual day in the life for him.:D

Le sigh

No one said I was afraid to drive in the rain or anything. I'm just saying it seems more often than not I am driving in the rain in my BRZ.

This was just a simple question of asking how often others drive in the rain. Lol

And on my 32 mile commute from Mars Hill to Black Mountain, the weather can change four times before I get there.

The car, however, is not too shabby, though it doesn't really know how to swim. When my OE Michelins wear out, I'm heading for the best all-season high performance tires I can get.

:party0030:

That's NC for you. I'm actually happy to be home.
