Waze app - California Group
In the main thread, one of the members came up with a great idea to create a Waze (app) group so other FRS/BRZ owners can join in and identify each other on the roads. In addition to the official "FT86" group that was created by member hawaiian, I think it's a great idea to create a regional group so we can blast any local meetups or announcements with fellow members via group chit-chats or location sharing.
I went ahead and created the SoCal group for Waze...

What is Waze?
For those who don't know what Waze is, it is an open-source (free!), community-driven navigation/GPS app for your iPhone/Android phone. I use this daily so it's an awesome piece of software.
Check it out here: http://www.waze.com/
What are Waze Groups?
When you use Waze, you can join or create online community groups within the app that relates to your area/interests that can help improve the functionality of the app for you and group members. You basically get to join in on a local digital community of drivers and contribute for a greater cause. (E.g. I am part of the Orange County Commuters group and users can submit traffic incidents as they occur.) Waze is smart enough to reroute in real-time if it believes it can find a workaround to cut down on your commute.
A Note when using Waze:
Not sure about Android users, but this app eats up battery for the iPhone like no other, so it's best that you're running with the USB cable plugged in. Don't forget to QUIT/SHUTDOWN the app when you're not using the app as the A-GPS sensor will continuously be running in the background and drain your battery.
