Clicking Sound from audio system.
 

I just started to hear clicking sound coming from my sound system. I hear a clicking sound when I am listening to the radio. It started about two weeks ago. I Have a 2013 FR-s with 14,500 miles. It has a Pioneer Premium Bespoke unit.

Any ideas? Or has anybody else heard this.

more details? clicking all the time? or only on source start? coming from one speaker, or area, or the entire system at once?


also!, I just remember this, but is it only on radio? and do you have an old fashion phone, or some other radio devices? my old Nextel phone would cause my radio to boop boop boop when I would get calls and texts, I would know a call was coming if my radio freaked out.

Also, I guess have you installed anything custom? like HIDs? I have read cheap HID ballasts can do this, which if that is the case you prob want to dump them fast as I have also read that poorly shielded ballasts can mess with engine computers too.

It is intermittent. No HID light. No Nextel phone. The car is stock electronic wise. Strange, while driving and play the radio , the click pops thru the speakers. Loose ground maybe? I did install and Intec High Mount brake light last week.

Last month it just went away, go figure. No more popping sound.
