No 50/50 but here are some shots of my fr-s after being clayed, polished with a porter cable with griots # 4 and an orange hex logic pad, sealed twice with chemical guys jet seal 109, then waxed with petes 52, and at the end a little gloss enhancer.

Noob in me asks, what is the point of these 50/50, beside showing off the pictures?
If you were detailing your own car why not just detail the whole hood and such instead of doing it twice?

To show a comparison of before and after of the paint being treated, normally you just do it once to show your progress not on the whole car lol. You put painters tape to divide the section you want to compare.

Holy crap, that Scholls leaves a great finish for a compound. What does the cut compare to? I've only done one Solstice, but I think the clear was made from melted diamonds. Took several passes with Megs burgundy and 105 on a Flex. This was a while ago, before MF pads were released and Surbufs were so well known.

This is a 50:50 of a Raven FR-S, honestly it's quite a hollow 50:50. I didn't think a car could be like this, especially since I heard the owners story. He only had this car home for 1 night and the dealership had it for 3+ weeks because of mechanical problems.

Now I've made a lot of assumptions about a how a dealership washes your vehicle but today I finally got proof. Now I won't name the dealership but I'm sure most dealerships are like this.

This poor corolla is getting it in the swirl-o-matic

and here is the brush wash I am always talking about

http://i1093.photobucket.com/albums/...1/183e8a1b.jpg

This soap bucket is used for multiple vehicles. I'll do the full vehicle in the near future so look out for that.

So far surpasses has the cut of M105, maybe not M101, still testing.

Check out this video, they use just a bit of polish:

I have not tried to let off pressure yet. Might give it a go on this FR-S today.

Is the finish better than 105 or does it just look that way on camera?
