Honestly this car isn't a slug stock it's great power one of the only N/A 2.0l with 200hp. Car is a blast stock take advantage of it being stock because you can literally thrash on this and drive it at 100% and feel totally comfortable. I love the power difference since I've been boosted but believe me it's a pain!! Sometimes wish I would've left it N/A it's a well built car don't let the hp fool you lol the only time this car feels slow is trying to play with it on the freeway!!

I had the same dilemma when a seller was trying to promote me a supercharger kit. The extra power made you think that it was night and day, but the comparison was not fair. In fact, we were comparing a tuned car versus a stock car. If you tune properly and stay N/A, then you understand that the difference is not so big. I feel lucky I didn't fall into temptation.

Saying you are stupid to want anything that goes faster than the highest posted speed limit. If there is no posted limit you are stupid to go faster than whatever he decides is safe. I find the car very stable at very near those speeds, but, again, not enough power to really push that high with authority. The little wound up rubber band under the hood has enough snap to be fun, though.

it's the reason people post questions on forums like this, so they can justify what their own decisions so they can feel better about themselves. it's the reason that people take care of their children, so they feel like good parents. or the reason people go to church, or do well at their jobs.

it's not sad; it's human. and it's also the inspiration for people to do good, help others, or other amazing things.
I don't quite understand what you're saying. Is it that it is OK to feel more self esteem because your car has more horsepower?

1. Why did you buy a twin instead of a slower car with 150 hp?
2. Did you feel better or worse about yourself with your purchase?

I think he's trying to say that it is innate for humans as social animals to improve.

Handling is a hard sell because there are no easy numerical stats to show for like in a straight line drag race.

It's easier to understand the benefits of quantity vs quality which is empirical.

I don't think it's necessarily just to go faster, but just to gain more of something to win. It's what makes us the dominant species.

Maybe because I couldn't find a decent 240Z. 151 hp.

I hadn't thought about that. But I hope my self esteem doesn't go up or down based on what car I buy.

I just asked a simple question because I really don't understand why some people complain that the car is under powered.

What would you do with the extra horsepower?

And almost no one has an answer, which leads me to believe they don't know. They just want more.

But to answer, so I feel better about myself- is sad. How would you feel if Toyota lied, and you found out that the car has 183 hp? Would you like yourself less?
