2016 backup camera

Does anyone know if the 2016 BRZ backup camera(part number 86267CA000) is a plug and play for the 2013 BRZ Limited head unit?

Wondering if this part would be plug and play on an FRS with the bespoke radio (w screen)

Is 86267CA000 just the camera itself, or all of the necessary wires also? In other words if I order part #86267CA000, will I need anything else (adaptors, etc)?

I'm assuming this part is just the camera itself with a 6" wiring pigtail that goes to a factory harness on the '16 that we don't have on a '13? I assume it's just a +6v or 12v (the old Fujitsu Ten HU puts out 6v to the camera, I had mine wired up with a relay for 12v for my aftermarket camera), a ground, and a video signal, but I have no idea what the pinout is and don't want to fry a $225 camera on a 1-in-3 chance of getting it right the first time. Are there any resources out there, or would anyone be able to take a multimeter to their '16 and help me figure it out? The thread linked above has a picture of the camera installed in the trunk and no further information about it.

2016 Dash Camera Wiring

You might want to look at my post about the 2016 Scion FR-S camera wiring in the dash. I wired my stock camera to an aftermarket head unit.

That thread doesn't really answer much... The guy linked the actual OEM piece from Japanparts but also another link that IS plug and play but states the camera itself is "OEM style"

Curious about this myself. Still haven't added a backup cam to my car and only recently realized the 2016 models came with an OEM backup cam.

On the 2016 FR-S the wiring in the trunk 4 pin socket is:

1 - Orange Camera Video +
2 - Light Blue Camera Video -
3 - Yellow Camera Battery +
4 - Brown Camera Ground

Get the one from Japan part, American one (emerald shit) is jack shit unless you wanna add a cheap ass shim under it or drill an actual hole on the metal trunk. Oh and some annoying camera lines that's design to align with the camera installed at the center of the car is gonna be there on top of HU lines. (Yes they point of different directions, & no if you set the HU line to go on top of preset line ... Car is obviously going different direction...)

Oh & u can't really disable the camera lines since that set up only has one positive & negitive wire...

The camera itself is good camera >.> .... Anyway stay away from anything on this side of pond if you want anything that's remotely OEM.
