With the drl mod added to them from fteightysix like I have, it makes it so that they stay on all the time other than when the ebrake is up. Unlike stock where the LED drls turn off when the headlights are on. |

We will start the day by feeding my granddaughters breakfast, then run them down to their school. After that we will hit the meat market and the bank and Walmart. Then we will have a break to .......check ..... The Forum ....... by that time it will be time to pick up the granddaughters from school and feed them a snack. Then grandma takes over, helping them with their homework and I get kicked off both of my computers, while they complete parts of their homework assignments. That gives me a chance to prepare and cook supper. Yep, come on down ....... we will have a blast ....... humfrz |

Minus the first part, that's basically what I did when I went to go hang out with Ultra for a day. We spent like 10 minutes on my car, then watched TV for the whole day. Ooooooo, lets set up and have a car meet at Walmart! If we get in trouble by security, just tell them that its to help bring in more business! :bellyroll: |

The drl on my 2013, only turned on one headlight at half power. It looks bad. Headlights on are better. I unplugged the resistor box. It's under the bumper. Additionally, this happenes to be what one of my first posts was about.... Back it 2012....
Edit: it was my very first post... takes me back.http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...102#post323102 |

mrs humfrz made me buy the giant slow cooker, so I could cook enough for us and our daughter to take home for her husband and our granddaughters ...... plus leftovers for both families. I have this 10 pound package of chuck roast .... so we will have enough for you too. humfrz |

The FR-S DRL is actually the high beam illuminated at low (half?) power. That's why it looks yellow. This is actually a good economical use of available resources. The high beam is used at full power only a fraction of the time. Operated at low power, it doesn't cut into the life of the bulb. Running all the lights during the day uses up the life of all the bulbs. Now, as far as disconnecting the DRL resistor, I'm not a fan. The electrical contacts are exposed to the elements. Kill it in the software. That's why the option exists. |
