Are the FRS stock projector lenses not clear?

Hey guys 2016 FRS and just installed Xenon Depot Xtreme 5000k HID kit last night and getting weird yellow hue on the cutoff. I emailed the company and they told me the yellow hue is a function of the projector in our cars. Is that correct? I'll try to post a picture of what I'm talking about but having issues resizing pictures

Sorry if this question has been asked before but I couldn't not find anything using search function or google.

That's the cutoff that you need to bend inside the projector housing. Pretty much the stock projectors were designed to project halogen bulbs. HIDs have different light dispersal patterns. I bent the plate inside down and got rid of basically most of that.

Almost all the people who stuck with stock projectors and did HID kits do that. I researched a lot about it from the forum and other sources and that's what was recommended.
