New TRM C4 17x8 and 17x9 wheels

Browsing tire rack I came across these. TRM C4, coming soon. Price seems suspiciously cheap though, maybe it's not finalized or they are just cheap wheels.
No weight given yet.

oh nice. It looks like the concave version of the TRM C2s. TRM C1s, C2s, C3s are pretty popular with the miata/e30 crowd. reliable autocross wheels. they were light for miata/e30 sizes too.

I've been eyeing these up as well. Available July 1st now. They look like very closely copied TE37s (best looking copy next to Varrstoen IMO).
Does TRM stand for Tire Rack Motorsport? I've read good things on their other wheels on the miata forums. I have a suspicion that Tire Rack has these wheels custom made for them since I can't find any proof of their existence besides on Tire Rack. I'm hoping they come in light (18lbs for the 17x8), and maybe, just maaaybe with a flowformed barrel?

TRMotorsports is Tire Rack's brand of wheels. Not a bad looking design. looks like TE37's but with the spoke thinness of a 57DR

I just got with a very helpful (as usual) Tire Rack CS representative to get some more info on these wheels.
He confirmed that they are ET45 for both 17x8 and 17x9.
They are low pressure cast (same as OEM wheels).
He wasn't able to give me a weight but the TRM C2 (17x8.5 low pressure cast) are 19lbs. The C2 is similar in style as well so I'm expecting the C4 17x8 to be 17-18lbs.

Sounds good besides the offset, +35 on 17x9 is life.

I've been looking for a 17x8 wheel with close to stock offsets (and a design I like lol). I want to go a bit wider in the wheel to reduce tire squirm by stretching the 215 a bit (but not to 9") I want to stick with stockish offsets as not to alter the scrub radius too much, already will be increasing it with the camber bolts.

Well aesthetically if you lower the car, add camber and don't run spacers I image you will be tucked in pretty hard. For me I wanted something functional that looked good lol.

Would buy if they were a +38, 18" wheel.

Haha yeah, but still ~15mm better than stock wheels!

Yes, but the extra inch of width also pushes the edge of the wheel 12.5mm out, so you get 15.5mmm
