Highway driving with the Damper ZZ-R Spec-C

At the conclusion of this trip, we will have put over 10000 miles on the 2-way adjustable ZZ-R Spec-C. Prior to installing on the car, we spent time tuning the shock via our in-house Damperworks staff. Using a Roherig shock dyno, the shocks were dyno'd so the left/right compression and rebounds were matched up.

On freeways, the suspension is very smooth. Most of the "road feel" is dictated by tire sidewall stiffness and tread, but over a variety of bumps the suspension is composed and comforatble.

With any 2-way adjustable suspension such as the ZZ-R Spec-C, one should spend time to fine-tune suspension performance based on individual driver needs. The suspension is very usable as a daily coilover, and offers enough adjustment for double use at the track.

Good luck! I've been to COTA and toured the facility, but I haven't had the chance to drive it yet. It's such an amazing course, even walking it was awesome!

In for videos!
