You think there are any solutions to this? Maybe a different fluid? I'm using motul already... Should I invest in another transmission just in case?

You can definitely try a different fluid. I have a similar crunch (doesn't grind yet, just is uncomfortable) going from 6th to 5th at anything about 75 MPH. I'm on Neo 75w-90. I kind of wanted to try Valvoline 75w-90 next, I had good luck with that in my MR2 Turbo for higher RPM "crunches".
If you do purchase another transmission, I'd be willing to go through your trans for a very reasonable price to try and learn what is going wrong with 5th gear synchro. I plan to do this to my trans when I install our stronger straight cut gearset.

I'm in a similar boat but with 1-2. Haven't had it happen inner normal acceleration in a long time but at higher RPMs it will do it once in a while. At first I thought I just fucked up my shift but I'm positive it's not me now

Ensure you're using quality fluid and that the shift gate to reverse isn't causing a slight misalignment.
Thanks,
Eric
